Bridging the gap between garage prototypes and industrial-scale manufacturing.
Behind the Site
My fascination with laser physics began with a desktop diode engraver that burned inconsistent kerfs and charred edges instead of crisp marks. Consumer laser forums were full of guesswork, arbitrary speed/power tables, and zero understanding of focal spot geometries or M² beam quality.
That lack of empirical rigor drove me into the photonic domain of fiber lasers, RF CO2 tubes, and high-speed Galvo scanheads. I wanted to understand how spot size, pulse frequency, and assist gas pressure mathematically dictate material removal rate and heat-affected zone (HAZ).
Real Industrial Experience
Over the years, I've tuned and maintained commercial laser cutting heads, 50W MOPA fiber marking stations, and large-format CO2 gantry cutters. I don't just burn test grids; I measure true optical wattage with thermopile power meters, calibrate Galvo lens distortion matrices, and optimize kerf offsets for precision mechanical press-fits.
At Laser Pulse, I bring that rigorous optical engineering standard to laser machinists, fab shops, and optical technicians. Whether you're dialing in LightBurn parameter libraries or installing a high-power fiber source, my mission is to give you empirical data instead of marketing assumptions.
Precision First
Every parameter table is backed by optical beam profiling and micrometric kerf validation.
Technical Integrity
No fluff, no sponsored bias. If a tube underperforms or lens coating burns, you'll see the autopsy.
Pro Standards
Applying Class 4 optical safety principles and photonic physics to every benchmark.

Why Trust This Source?
The laser engraving and cutting space is flooded with unverified speed/power charts and quick affiliate reviews. At Laser Pulse, we believe documentation is an engineering discipline. Every article here is written after empirical focal testing, beam profiling, and destructive cut boundary analysis.
I founded this portal to give makers, fabricators, and engineers the high-fidelity optical benchmarks they need to run repeatable production without destroying expensive materials.
Collaboration & Inquiries
I am open to technical consultations, industrial machine testing, and professional collaborations that align with our high-fidelity standards.
